Marriage or Civil Partnerships
Celebrating your marriage or civil partnership (£600*)

Once you have completed all of the legalities, you are then free to celebrate your marriage or civil partnership in any way, and in any place that you choose.

With an independent celebrant you have the freedom to make the celebration of your marriage, or civil partnership as personal and unique as you wish.
You can have the ceremony that you want, wherever you want it. There are no restrictions on the venue that you choose, the words that you say, or the poems, readings, or music that are part of your ceremony.
You are free to include religious or spiritual elements if you wish, and/or traditions and symbolic actions from a mix of cultures – the choice is completely yours.
Whatever choices you make for your celebration, I will help you to create a unique ceremony that truly reflects all that is important to you as a couple going forward.
Renewing your marriage or civil partnership vows (£500*)
You may have decided to renew your vows to mark a special anniversary, milestone, or to celebrate overcoming a difficult time. Whatever the reason, your ceremony can be as intimate or as extravagant as you choose.
You have the freedom to host your celebration where and when you choose, and to include whatever you like.
You may have a family that you would like to be included, and I can liaise with them to help to explain your thoughts and ideas. Some couples choose to mark these occasions by rededicating their rings, re-affirming their vows, writing their own, new vows/promises, or exchanging gifts.

*All prices quoted for ceremonies include travel within 50 miles of my home; if the ceremony location is further than this, additional travel expenses will be charged at 45p per mile. If you decide to include a symbolic ritual and would like me to source the items required, this would also be added to your fee, as would any additional, in-person meetings, or a rehearsal for the ceremony. We can discuss any additional fees during a free, no-obligation discussion call. Any additional expenses will be clearly laid out in your booking form and contract.

Celebrating your commitment and affirming your love (£500*)
You may wish to celebrate your life-long commitment to each other, without the legalities. A commitment or affirmation ceremony allows you to declare your love and commitment to one other in front of your friends and family.
As there are no legal constraints you have the freedom to host it where and when you like and to include whatever is right for you. I will meet with you to chat through your ideas and thoughts, and make sure that your ceremony is a clear reflection of you and your relationship.
A commitment or affirmation ceremony allows a couple to make a declaration of love and commitment to each other. This is not a legal ceremony; it is purely an affirmation and celebration of your feelings for one another.
You can make vows and promises, have readings, and play music. You can celebrate your commitment privately or make a public declaration in front of your friends and family.
Whatever choices you make for your celebration, I will help you to create a unique ceremony that truly celebrates you as a couple, and your ongoing commitment to one another.
